The Tidal Court
A monthly creative rite. Build a bot, chase the theme, and see what rises.
Every month, the Anchorlights drop a theme. You build a bot. At the end of the month, we pick a favourite — and that creator earns the 🪸 Crowned in Coral role and a permanent place in the Reliquary of Tides.
That's it. No pressure, no politics. Just a shared creative direction and a reason to build something new.
Our hope is to help inspire you if you're stuck, or give you something new to explore if you're not. It's all for fun!
Each month's theme is revealed on the 1st — no previews, no early access. Everyone starts at the same time.
All members of Velvet Haven are welcome to enter. Anchorlights are not eligible for Crowned in Coral or Reliquary placement, to keep things fair for the community.
Entries must be posted between the 1st and 28th of each month. Anything posted after the 28th will not be considered, regardless of when judging takes place.
Post your entry as its own post in the monthly theme forum. You're also welcome to share it in your Gilded Thread or in Bot-showcase — but your forum post is what counts as your official entry.
Each post should include
- Bot name
- Platform + working link
- A short hook (2–3 sentences, no spoilers)
A few things to know
- Your bot must be live and deployed on a platform (CrushOn.ai, TipsyChat, LinkinLove, Craveu.ai, Saucepan, or similar) with a working link.
- You may submit multiple entries. Each one should be its own forum post.
- Entries do not need to be exclusive to Velvet Haven. If you're running the same bot in another server's event or on another platform, that's completely fine.
At the end of each month, the Anchorlights review all eligible entries and pick one favourite. We're looking for:
There is no voting, no reaction count, no algorithm. It's a human call. We'll always share a brief note on why the winning bot stood out so there's something to learn from each pick.
The winning creator receives the 🪸 Crowned in Coral role for the month and permanent placement in the Reliquary of Tides. The role moves to the new winner at the start of each month.
The Reliquary resets each January — the previous year's entries are archived, not deleted.
Be a good sport. Congratulate your fellow creators.
Questions about the theme? Drop them in the thread below the pinned post in the monthly forum — we'll answer there so everyone can see. Questions or chattering in general? #general-lounge awaits! 🐦⬛
Good luck. Go deep. 🌊🖤
The ocean does not forget.
Neither do we.
This is the Reliquary — a permanent record of every creator who has risen to the surface and been Crowned in Coral. Each month, one name is added. Each year, the record is sealed and a new one begins.
To be here is to have made something worth remembering.
The Reliquary is sealed each December and archived. A new record opens every January.
